The Chimspector Forever Warranty

What it covers

Every repair, installation and restoration Chimspector completes is covered for materials and labor for as long as the system receives its annual inspection and service from Chimspector.

The one condition

The system must be inspected and serviced by Chimspector every year, in line with NFPA 211, the national standard for chimneys and venting. The annual visit depends on what you have:

• Gas fireplaces, inserts and logs: a full annual service, including burner and pilot cleaning, a gas connection and venting check, and a safety system test.
• Wood-burning chimneys and relined or repaired systems: a Level 2 inspection with a sweep.

If a year is missed, the warranty lapses.

What it does not cover

• Damage from storms, lightning, falling trees, flooding or other acts of nature
• Damage from work done by other contractors after ours
• Misuse, including burning trash or unapproved fuels and overfiring the appliance
• Manufacturer products, which carry their own manufacturer warranties (we help you file those)
• Cosmetic wear and normal weathering of finishes

How to make a claim

Call the office that serves you: South Carolina 803-602-5929, Western North Carolina 828-900-1551. We will schedule a visit to inspect the issue, and covered repairs are made at no charge.

If you sell your home

The warranty transfers one time to the next homeowner, as long as the annual inspections are current. The new owner just calls the office to put it in their name.
